Life with little ones...

I find little time to write these days, but so much happen all the time that I could write a book about all the different events happening in our household. Yesterday Mickie and I decided to go shopping for clothes with Aaron and Olivia. Oboy, what an experience shopping with two little ones. Olivia ran around the store playing "hiding go seek" and thought it was really funny that I couldn't find her when I called her name. I wish I had eyes on the back of my head, because my neck was sore from twisting and turning in all directions. When trying on clothes, Olivia decides to play "peek a boo" in every fitting room she could find. Half naked, I am trying to control her from not peeking into someone else's booth. Suddenly Aaron starts screaming "I'm hungry" (not litterally) and I have to give him a bottle hoping that he won't throw up all over the clothes I was trying to fit my post pregnant body.
After giving Aaron a bottle, I put him back in the stroller hoping I could quickly try on the rest of the clothes I had picked out, when Olivia crawls back in my booth telling me she needs to go potty. What do you tell your daughter after trying to get her to go on the potty, just to do it in her diaper. Well, it was too late, she had already gone number 2 and I had to get down on all four to change her stinky diaper. I didn't mention that I had already changed Aaron's diaper just moments before. The store manager must have thought I was trying on a million outfits when in fact I only got to try on one pair of pants and a couple of tops. I felt like I needed to pay rent for just using their fitting room.
When leaving the store I thought I was running a fever when in fact I was completely stressed out over shopping with my two kids. My plan to run two more errands ended with me going through Chick Fil A's drive through and driving 20 miles back home with my gas light on empty. I just wanted to get home and not feel panic anymore. Back home I dropped the kids on Will's lap and said I was going to a room in my house where I can find some peace and quiet for just a brief moment.

Happy Birthday Tristan...
Tristan had her birthday last week and we had our little family get together to celebrate. The last two years Tristan has celebrated her birthday's in Sweden. Now she is back home and we love to have her, Jonathan, and the little girls back in Memphis. Olivia and Elly Marta have so much fun together. They love playing the piano and who knows maybe one day they will actually play a duet together.

Bed time...
We've had a hard time getting Olivia to take her naps in the afternoon. I put her in her bed, but all I hear is singing and playing and no sleep. We've also worked on getting her to sleep without the pacy. However, she is sneeky and gets Aaron's pacy and goes and hides in a corner somwhere. The other day we found her fast a sleep on the couch with Aaron's pacy and a blanket wrapped around her head.
Mikie, my sister is staying with us for a few months. Olivia absolutely loves her sweet aunt. One morning I found Olivia and Aaron in bed with their Aunt having a cozy time.
