Sorry that it takes me decades before I upload some news about what's going on in our household. I've had family visiting and staying with us since May 15th. First Jonathan and Tristan and Elly Marta, then my sister Mickie and now I have my parents from Sweden visiting till August 9th. My aunt and uncle Helen and Peter and their 3 kids are also visiting from Sweden. It's been a full and exciting summer. I'm just growing bigger as you all can see. The baby can arrive anytime now.

April Snapshots

I know, I know, it takes me a while to get things uploaded on the blog, but here are some snapshots from the month of April. Will turned 30 and on the same weekend he ran a half marathon and finished really well!! We had a family reunion in Nashville and aunt Susie came down to Memphis for a quick visit. We are doing really well. I (Bella) am growing larger by the day. The baby is kicking and turning and seems to me be a very active little one.

Happy Easter!

We hope you all had a wonderful Easter!! Olivia had her first egghunt and was escorted by our friend Pat. Pat is a new friend who has been coming to church with us. She has quite a story to tell. She has had a rough life with drugs and going in and out of jail, but God has touched her life and she wants to live and serve him fully. Pray for her as she is trying to find a permanent home and starting her new life raised with Christ. Pray for me that I can be the friend that God wants me to be. Pat had to be taken to the emergency yesterday (Easter Sunday) to get her kidneys checked out. Her kidneyes are suffering from all the drug abuse. Pray that God will sustain her and heal her. Olivia absolutely loves Pat and we feel truly blessed to have her in our lives.
We are doing great. My belly is growing rapidly (sometimes too rapidly!!!). I am finally excited about being pregnant and soon having our second child.

Spring is in the air

I think spring is finally here and we are so excited to dress lighter.
We went for a hike in Shelby Forrest (45 min from Memphis) and we also spent some time with Uncle Matt and Aunt Rachel in Atlanta this past week. Olivia loved the aquarium in Atlanta. The worst Tornado in Atlanta's history hit down town Atlanta this past weekend. We were fortunate be slightly north of were the tornado hit. It looked like a warzone in down tonw Atlanta.

My dear valentine

Will took me out on a romantic dinner the other night and gave me a sweet card, a buquet of red roses and some delicious chocolate. We are going on our 6th year and I am amazed that our love just goes stronger and stronger. God truly blesses our marriage.

Our dear friends Liz and Michael are engaged and will be married this summer.
We had a cocktail party for them at our home this past week. We had some great food, jazz muscians performing, dancing and delicious drinks made.

Playing catch up!!

A friend just commented that I hadn't updated our blog in months and that I needed to do something about it. She was absolutely right!! So here I am finally doing something about it. For the past 3 1/2 months I have just tried to stay above surface. When you feel constantly nausiated and have no energy to do anything, besides taking care of a 19 month old that has no understanding of mommy being pregnant, it can be tough. Yes, I am pregnant and the baby is due in the beginning of August. We are excited to have another one, but the first months are rough before food can settle with out it bursting out on a regular basis. So, that has been my story for the past few months. I am now starting to feel much better and all I am doing is growing bigger and bigger...
What else has been going on...well I have been taken care of a little baby (4 months) for 3 days a week, I teach 14 private students in voice, piano and violin.
I teach a mommy and me class for little babies and toddlers. I stay busy!!!
